Poll Results!

Alright! This time, there are two polls results to cover instead of just the one. First, the June Story Poll which technically wrapped up around a week ago. That poll is weighted, so here are the final results after doing the vote weighing:

------------

One Piece: Halfway Broken: 140

Harry Potter: Pandora's Box: 25

Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams: 28

------------

..

....

.....

Yeaaaahhh, I really need to sneak updates for the other two stories in so that the poor things have an actual chance. As it is, this feels like bullying :-p. Still, the people have spoken! Once again, we shall have an update of One Piece: Halfway Broken this month!

==============

Now! There's another poll to deal with this time! The relationship poll for Displaced Hero! I let this poll run for nearly a month, and made sure to mention it in the lastest release of the story, waiting a good ten days after that before shutting it down. I wanted to get as broad a view of what everyone, patrons and non-patrons alike, wanted out of the story. The result has once again proven that the internet it for porn. Or at least for horny people ;-). The option up for voting was whether or not to make the story a multi-ship relationship, and here are the results.

-------------------

I would prefer the story to be a multi-ship, with up to three others joining. - 70%

I'm indifferent. Either is fine with me. - 16%

I want the main pairing to be just Izuku/Aayla - 14%

-------------------

As you can see, the victory for multi-ship was pretty overwhelming. Even the people that didn't care either way overtook the Izuku/Aayla only fans. This means that Can One Displaced Hero Save the Galaxy?  is now officially a multi-ship story. That said, I think you all know by now that I'm a big proponent of relationships being a natural part of the story. Also, even more than that, I don't ever want the relationships and kinky shenanigans to overwhelm the narrative. Mass Effect: Final Error was an exception, because it started as an erotic story first and foremost, and I basically tricked everyone into reading the rest of the plot around the smut ;-).

What this means for Displaced Hero is fairly simple. There will be additional girls involved with Izuku and Aayla, but they will enter into the plot naturally and weld into the relationship over time, rather than just jumping straight to the duo bedding all the eligible women of Star Wars. There's also a limit on how many I will add, simply because juggling the unwieldly harems that some authors try to smash together generally commits war crimes against any attempt at an actual narrative. Due to the scale of the story, there's more wiggle room to the number I'll consider with Displaced Hero than I'm willing to try in My Hero Automata or One Piece: Halfway Broken. But, most probably, there won't be more than 3 additional girls joining them. Possibly four. Unlikely more.

As for who those girls will be? Currently, Mei is extremely likely. There were a lot of comments supporting that idea in the poll, and frankly there's the basis for some good chemistry with what I've already written. Aside from her, I'm strongly considering Padme. She's actually right around their age at this point in the story (3-years younger than both of them) and I honestly think she'd be a good fit for their little movement in a lot of ways. As well as possibly a good fit personality wise with all three of them. Beyond those two, I have only vague ideas and am somewhat open to suggestions. There are a few that I will shoot down outright, off the top of my head:

---

Bo-Katan - I flat out don't like her character. I won't bash her, but I don't have to write her into my story either.

Celeste Morne - Bad personality matchup.

Allaya Djo - I'm going to be honest. It's the name. It's way too confusing to have her and Aayla in the same place very often. If she wasn't one of the only EU light-side witches we have a name for (that would be alive and suitable age at the time of the story), I would never have used the name -_-.

Ahsoka Tano - Too much younger. I like Ahsoka, but she's literally seven years old at the current point in the story, and Izuku/Aayla are now 20. Given how I intend the story to go, it's likely it will end before Ahsoka is old enough for that big of an age gap to matter less.

---

Aside from those (or others that I'd shoot down for similar too-young reasons like I did Ahsoka), I'm fairly open to suggestions. Just don't expect me to jump on every idea ;-). They need to be people I genuinely feel would fit with each other!
