Alright! A few days later than usual, but given that I spend the 1st and 2nd down with a nasty case of the Flu (I'm still not 100%, but I'm feeling a lot better), I'll forgive myself for the delay with a 'circumstances beyond my control' waiver. Hopefully, you all accept those as well ;-).
Anyway, as usual for the first update of the month, this is on the smaller side. Two chapters, amounting to just over 6,500 words. About typical for the first My Hero Automata release of the month, with the mid-month release usually making up the bulk of the monthly word count for the story with a 10k+ release. These chapters are also a bit transitional, mostly filling up dead space that was largely skipped over in the original media as the characters prepared for the Cultural Festival. I show a little bit of that preparation here, but also took the time to slot a couple of hints for future story bits in.
I also spent Chapter 68 getting back to the Work Studies. It always sort of annoyed me how the author just sort of...didn't do much with those. They were supposedly this Big Deal. But then almost all of the content after Nighteye's death just reverted right back to focusing on UA and the Dorms. With not much ever getting shown about Work Studies. Mind you, I can't focus on it too much either, as events are going to rapidly start spinning off-canon after the Cultural Festival. But I figured I'd use a bit of the dead space that is the timeline gap between its announcement and the actual Festival to show some more snapshots of a few work studies. Nothing big and no real action. But we do finally get to hear the reasoning behind Izumi's Hero Name.
Also, I'm not sorry for the Pony thing (You'll understand when you get there. Or maybe you won't if the internet hasn't gotten to your brain fully yet.). I refuse to believe that Horikoshi could possibly have put that much blatant suggestion in one character on accident.
As always, the new stuff is attached here in both formats, and I'll update the master files in the pinned post shortly as well.
