Just a Quick Update

Salutations, everyone! I don't normally make general information posts, as much because I do respond to pretty much all comments, reviews, and direct messages, as for lack of much to say between story releases. That said, I felt I should probably mention that life events have sort of...run me the fuck over...this month. 

That will NOT affect the release of content I've promised to deliver. 

I wanted to be absolutely clear about that before I say anything farther. The next update for My Hero Automata is already done and edited. It will be released on Friday the 15th, as is pretty much always the plan. Well, not always a Friday. But usually the 14th or 15th of a month. Unless something else goes wrong, I also don't anticipate any issue getting the update for Displaced Hero out on time, either. Frankly, if this was any other month, I probably wouldn't have posted this little update. 

The reason I'm doing so now is because I had mentioned possibly sneaking in an update for Pandora's Box in addition to everything else. I had believed it to be a good choice of a month to do that in, particularly as I'm not talking about a large update. Unfortunately, I was really not expecting to get almost literally kicked in the teeth by some unexpected medical issues. Don't worry, it isn't anything life threatening or horrific. It's just...an expensive to deal with. As in, probably in the order of $5,000 and several months of appointments to deal with.  

Suffice it to say I haven't exactly been in a great mental space. And those aforementioned appointments have been chewing into my time. Not, as I already indicated, badly enough to keep me from the regular release schedule. I'm just really doubtful I will find the time and energy for the extra effort with Pandora's Box this month. I still intend to sneak it a small update when I can. But that probably won't be this month. It wasn't something I'd outright promised, as I knew it would be a case of squeezing it in if I could. But I had mentioned it a couple of times. So, this post is just sort of a managing expectations thing. 

Regular updates will continue uninterrupted. As I said, the next bit of My Hero Automata is already done. And I have plenty of time to get Displaced Hero done, as well. Just...don't expect the possible extra this month :-(. Sorry! This was very much a life-kicking-me-in-the-ass beyond my control sort of thing.
