February Poll Results!
Added 2024-01-26 09:20:17 +0000 UTCAlright! The poll results are in! Someone even took advantage of one of the extra voting point tiers (Thanks, person who did so! Don't want to call you out in case you don't want the attention, but I appreciate it!). To be fair, it wouldn't have made a difference in this case. But that's entirely because the story they put their votes behind would have won either way ;-). Even so, I'll show a proper vote tally this time, since the vote weighing was a thing I had to properly tally this time.
---------------
One Piece: Halfway Broken - 29 Votes
Harry Potter: Pandora's Box: 12 Votes
Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams: 12 Votes

Pretty obvious winner in the end, huh? It actually wasn't that obvious for the first half of the month, though. In fact, Halfway Broken was actually losing for the first several days of the poll. I would assume it swung around to victory as more people had a chance to read it, but that's just a guess :-). As it is, with a very clear victory, I'll be updating One Piece:Halfway Broken in February. I'm 90% sure I'll be able to push that fic through the rest of the pre-Romance Dawn content and (hopefully) into the actual East Blue arc. Another small note...I'll be running a poll staring on the first regarding the pairing for the story. So keep your eyes open for that!
To those that were hoping for another result, don't despair! While I doubt I can squeeze it into February given how short it is (even as a leap year, it's STILL a short month), I'm intent on getting Pandora's Box at least a small update sometime in the next couple of months. I don't want any story to completely languish to the point people think it's dead or abandoned. As for those who were hoping for Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams. Well, since Final Error just ended, I'd say there's a decent chance future votes might swing in Eridium Dream's direction, for people who want their Mass Effect fix ;-).

Can't blame you there...canon Luffy is dense as a sack of lead bricks. I first watched it when I was a lot younger and found his cheerful outlook enough to offset a lot of my dislike of dumb protagonists. But it wore on me eventually to the point that I stopped watching it past a certain point. There was no way I was going to write that myself ;-).

2024-01-28 04:42:43 +0000 UTCLooking forward to an update to Halfway Broken. It's managed to get my interest in ways One Piece was never really able to do so. I guess that your MC is just a more interesting one for me.
