My Hero Automata (Chapters 37 & 38)

Surprise! I can draw. Sort of. Mostly. More on that in a minute. 

First, release time! This is the second monthly release for My Hero Automata, which takes a step back from the violence of the last release and covers the lead-up to Final Exams for the First Years. No matter what else is going on, UA is still a school! Though, given how many disruptions there have been so far, UA has arranged a few extras for the students...

Getting back to the image. Yes, the drawing is entirely mine, not AI generated like the previous image used for this fic. I can draw...I'm just realllllly slow and the results aren't anything particularly special. The slow part is mostly a lack of time to really sink into things, as evidenced here. This drawing is basically only at the second stage of completion for me. It's past the initial sketch, and into the stage where I turn a sketch into rough lines. But it still needs another pass to refine/clean up those lines before I even start to add color. Adding color is another three stage process beyond that. Like I said, I'm...pretty slow. 

I'd originally hoped to at least finish the lines completely before posting this. Unfortunately, I also discovered that 2B's original artwork is well beyond my ability to duplicate. Seriously, whoever her original artist is was a madman. Talented, obviously, but crazy. I attempted to replicated the scrollwork on her main outfit repeatedly...and quickly realized why no one draws that outfit. I'd always figured people mostly drew her leotard versions because it was sexier. Now, however, I'm convinced it's because they all failed to replicate the original as well T-T. I finally gave in and am modifying the costume more than originally intended, just to keep it within my ability to actually draw it...

Well, anyway, I'm intending to eventually make at least one piece of art for each story, except Final Error since it will be ending soon. It just might take a while. Displaced Hero will be next, probably a version of Aayla rather than Izuku because Izuku is boring looking. Eridium Dreams...is actually already partly mine. While its image is AI filtered, it's an AI filtered image of one of my own non-mass effect pieces. Which is why the quality is better than the one for Final Error.
