My Hero Automata (Chapters 29-31)
Added 2023-11-02 00:05:42 +0000 UTCAnd we're back! Wasn't sure I was going to get this one edited in time for release today, but luckily I was able to squeeze some time in to do so with. Given how well the release schedule has been working, I'm going to do my best to maintain it. Which means the next story update will be the poll winner for this month. Said winner was, one again, Can One Displaced Hero Save the Galaxy?, though it faced a bit of a surprising challenger in the form of Mass: Effect Eridium Dreams, and Pandora's Box got a little representation too!
Anyway, enough about future releases! This is the post for the latest roll out of more My Hero Automata! This chapter adds right around 6,000 words, and injects some action back into the story after the last release was mostly talking. The League of Villains makes their move, but do they actually get what All for One wanted out of the fight?
As always, the new chapters are attached here in both PDF and Epub formats, and I'll be updating the pinned post with the new Master Files shortly.
P.S. Almost forgot...sorry about the anti-climactic way Izumi's Hero Name is introduced. I kept trying to find a better way to do it...but I didn't want to repeat the classroom scene since most of the names are the same. And it just never seemed to fit anywhere. I'll get an explanation of why she choose it in sooner or later.

2023-11-07 02:51:18 +0000 UTCSadly, AO3 and I have permanently parted ways. Violently. They were extremely rude and confrontational, and I was even ruder back. I'm pretty sure after the last of several escalations resulted in me wishing their policy team to all fall groin first into a cactus patch, neither side is willing to be anything less than completely petty. In my defense (*puffs cheeks like a 3-year-old and points) they started it! I'm considering a couple of other platforms to upload to at this point. And I still have everything but Mass Effect: Final Error up on Fanfiction.net. I never thought I'd have to say it, but Fanfic.net are actually the more reasonable people. Which is utterly galling given that AO3 was originally created as an alternative to Fanfiction.net that was supposed to be less restrictive.

2023-11-06 23:40:16 +0000 UTCWoo, someone said a fight I wrote was amazing! Given that I'm sort of bad at writing fights, I'm happy about that ;-). And yeah, I've seen a lot of MHA fanfics get abandoned either during the sports festival or internships. Thankfully, I can legitimately claim I have the story planned out through the end of the Shie Hassaikai arc, including the I-island arc. After that, I have a MAJOR divergence planned from canon. I have sporadic notes about points after that, but it's still being fleshed out exactly how it will work.

2023-11-06 05:29:34 +0000 UTCHey I really liked this chapter! The fight was amazing and at this point when are the heroes going to realize how OP Izumi is? Also, interns are over!!!!!!!! As I read my hero fanfics it becomes apparent that most get abandoned during or right after interns, so milestones! I can’t wait to see what you do going into season 3.
