Poll Results + Progress Report
Added 2023-09-28 20:53:28 +0000 UTCSo, the poll actually finished up at midnight on the 25th, I've just been a bit busy with various projects. Regardless, it is done, though the results are pretty obvious. While we did actually have a split in the poll for the first time, with a couple of people voting for Harry Potter: Pandora's Box, that story still only managed to take 25% of the vote. The other 75% went to Can One Displaced Hero Save the Galaxy?, making that story once again the winner. I think I may have to plan for a holiday update to one of the other stories, just to keep people from thinking they are dead ;-).
Honestly, though, I don't mind at all. Can One Displaced Hero Save the Galaxy? still actually has the strongest grasp on my muse currently. Even more so that My Hero Automata, though not by much. That and the fact that I have the next several releases of it outlined pretty thoroughly, honestly make it the easiest of the stories to work on. At least for now. That will likely change when the story begins to scale up. Star Wars works struggle for a reason, since the sheer scale of events is a bit hard to cover. Thankfully, I planned for that from the start, so I know how canon is going to derail. I just have to try to keep it from bogging down when the story scales up from Izuku and Aayla's small scale adventures into something that can actually impact the main plot in a serious way. If you haven't figured it out, I don't really stick to canon closely in any of my stories, and CODHSTG won't be in different...
On another note, the schedule from the last two months has worked out pretty well, so I'm going to try to stick with it. I already have the first batch of new content ready for My Hero Automata, to be released on the 1st. Which will hopefully be followed by CODHSTG and week later, a second MHA release after that, and Mass Effect: Final Error in the last week of the month. I can't promise exact dates, but that's the rough plan, at least!
