2024-07-11 16:07:51 +0000 UTCI'm glad you found something :-). And yes, the PDF format is super limited. I mostly provide it because it will open on almost anything (even just in a browser like Chrome). I will always recommend the epub format over it, though.

2024-02-11 00:51:46 +0000 UTCAh yes it seems my phone didn't want to read the epub format even if I had kindle so I had to dl another app for that and it's OK. Since my main frustrations lied with the pdf format I'd say problem solved. Thanks for the tip

2024-02-11 00:08:58 +0000 UTCIt's a bit of a matter of how you access them. Loading either format into an app like kindle makes it fairly easy to read. Likewise, there are a number of other completely free apps that do extremely well with the Epub format. Nook, Overdrive, Google Play Books, Kobo Books, FullReader, Apple Books (iPhone/iPad), and a lot more. Essentially, it's just a matter of choosing a program to load them into. The vast majority of smart phones come pre-loaded with either Apple Books or Kindle. So I'd recommend giving one of those a try first.

2023-08-02 00:26:05 +0000 UTCI'm glad you enjoyed it! As it happens, I've already written what ship they'll get! That will be in the next update (on the 8th). I'm afraid it's not one of those two. The Phantom class is several thousand years out of date during this time period and the chances any of them still being around (given they were rare ships to start with) is pretty unlikely. And I wanted to stay away from the YT series in general, since they are a bit too commonly used in basically every bit of Star Wars fanfiction. That said, I DID pick a ship that is a 'real' design/model, in the sense that it exists (both in Legends and Canon, actually) and there are some existing specs for it. The fact that there's even an existing floor plan of the model in question (from one of the tabletop RPGS I think) only makes the one I ultimately went with better ;-).

And for where they will go next, to both ditch/sale 'their' shuttle and buy a new ship? Well all the choices sound good, but have you decided on what ship they will get? Personally I would love it if they got a X-70B Phantom class! It would be a good ship for them, with its stealth features, different facilities and weapons. Or maybe a YT-1930 transport? They have good cargo space and can be easily modified with what else they would need, like better weapons and such! In any case, I'm looking forward to reading much more of your "Can One Displaced Hero Save the Galaxy?" story!
