"Warm Leaves" - A Portrait with a Red Dragon
Added 2024-04-19 20:00:06 +0000 UTCHere's another completed YCH - a dragon portrait in an autumn forest. This illustration was challenging because I found that drawing red scales in daylight is a very tricky task.
It's difficult to get the shades and reflections right; I even made a separate sketch with an analysis for myself (you might have seen it here earlier). But I achieved a good result, although not without struggle haha.
The work took 9 hours and 30 minutes, not counting the additional materials with analyses. Later, as usual, I'll post the speedpaint.
