The Pain of "How to Train Your Dragon"
Added 2024-04-13 19:00:06 +0000 UTCI think everyone knows that the "How to Train Your Dragon" franchise was the best friend of my childhood. I grew up with the characters of this cartoon and followed all the news and details about the creation of new parts every year, until the very last one. Then I grew up and started doing other things. Years later, I heard about the creation of a new series "How to Train Your Dragon: Nine Worlds" and became interested in it.
I was very disappointed to see how much the quality of animation and character design had fallen. I won't even mention the idea itself. Honestly, I haven't watched this particular series, but the screenshots from it really upset me. I understand that serial production requires a lot of expenses, but my soul, as a devoted fan of HTTYD, was hurt.
I decided to spend the evening drawing and ended up with one of the dragons from the team - Plowhorn. I drew other dragons too, but they are lying in my sketchbook (maybe they will also appear here sometime).
Anyway, this is how I pay tribute to my favorite cartoon and just fantasize about a slightly different design of dragons. Nothing more.)
