In this first part of Throwback Songs the members start off with guessing songs from the 2000s, it seemed like a lot of the songs came from animations/cartoons that were popular during the members childhood. 📺🎶
The BTS members have accumulated a couple punishments/awards from the past Run series so in this episode they decided to drop them all and together pick one punishment. 😳
The punishment they agreed on was to walk across the Seoul Sky Bridge which is 541 meters above Seoul!😥 And the loser can pick one other person to go with them but it can’t be the member in second place.

2022-03-18 23:27:36 +0000 UTCOhh myyyyy, I was an Otaku....back in the day (still am actually ;D ) Otaku means a person who loves Anime....So yeah I have lots of recommendations depending on the genre you prefer. Slam Dunk is one of my favorites and it's so heart warming to know that BTS also loved it, not so many artists I liked before revealed their love for Anime as it can be deemed childish that's why I was so glad when I knew our Boys are open in expressing it. Not only Slam Dunk, they also love One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, Ippo, Detective Conan and of course Dragon Ball Z which is a very awesome classic and all these are iconic Animes.

(I'm using a translator, so please understand if the sentence is awkward.) Unlike Run BTS, if one person is wrong, everyone will be hit by a tray. And the tray they used is a real tray, so it hurts more than the one they used in Run BTS. (example : https://youtu.be/IBDvB9DHPjI) Gomusin(고무신/Rubber shoes) are made of rubber and have been worn since the 1920s in Korea. Gomusin were worn a lot in the 1950s and 1960s, but are rarely found now. The song "Black Gomusin" played on Run BTS is an animation that aired in the 2000s.(song : https://youtu.be/HIi8_yp9Kno) The main background period based on animation is the end of the 1960s in Korea. In the next Run BTS, as Suga and RM said, they play a game called Challenge Thousand Songs. Challenge Thousand Songs is an entertainment program aired from October 22, 2000 to June 22, 2014 at 8 a.m. on Sundays. It's the first SBS entertainment show that aired for more than 10 years. It is a game that depends on how many songs you know rather than singing well because you had to sing random songs without lyrics.(But in Run BTS they sing with lyrics) Whenever I woke up in the Sunday morning when I was young, Challenge Thousand Songs came out on TV, making me know a lot of old songs. sorry for TMI ;)

2022-03-17 07:27:24 +0000 UTCI think the production crew of Run BTS is probably about the similar age as me. A lot of familiar songs came out, so it was especially fun when I first saw it. Haha All of them were to some extent popular animations in Korea, but I think Pokemon, Digimon, Cardcaptor Cherry(Cardcaptor Sakura's korean title), and Dooly the Little Dinosaur were the most popular. Oh, Slam Dunk, too! Those songs brought back memories for me:) This episode is one of the very cute and lovely episodes where you can get a glimpse of the members' childhood innocence. I love it💜 Thank you for the reaction of this episode💜 QOTD: K-ARMYs are so proud of BTS' the Grammy nomination and performance for the second consecutive year. But also say that If the Grammy treat BTS like that(using them as a ratings hostage without even giving them a prize) again this time, we won't forgive the Grammy. Of course, I think so, too.

2022-03-17 03:25:45 +0000 UTCOmg this episode was so much fun while watching I couldn’t stop laughing at them just trying to guess the names of the cartoons and it being on the tip of there tongue lol also can’t wait for the next episode and for you guys to find out who got the penalty!!!!💜 also I mentioned this in your guys post a couple days ago I suggested that after this series and for the last 2 episodes if it could just be all in one video like a little marathon/compilation since it’s the last 2 episodes that were up beforthe break and so you guys could finish it this month and start April fresh with something and something new and you guys could just watch them all in one video with the behinds instead of waiting a week!!!!

2022-03-17 03:24:56 +0000 UTCa bit of info about the songs; the song they were singing in the main game with trays falling on their heads was the same song jk's mom guesses on the phone in a previous episode! also the song they teased namjoon singing for the next episode is the same song he sang (with jin and jk) in the ICONIC mt episode when he was wearing the red cape and crown! i think it's very fun when the producers include these little callbacks to previous episode lmao, another reason why people should watch run bts in order tbh!

Don't know, it seems that when they film a run BTS after a long time their interactions are even more endearing!!

The second game is actually very similar to some games they would do on BTS gayo too, I'm so excited for when you get there!!! Also, the first song they had to memorize "Affection by Young Turks Club" it appeared before in another Run, in the "Variety Quizz Show" episode where they called their parents and JK called his mom, and in the last minute she answered because his dad remembered the name it's this song!!! (Right after she says "Jimin-ah saranghae" and he gets all happy lol) So excited for next episode, the karaoke part is amazing!! And i think you'll get surprised by who'll do the punishment 😂
