Official Announcement Regarding Ymir’s Departure and Studio Updates

Hello everyone,

We would like to formally acknowledge and clarify the recent announcement made by Ymir, who has stepped down from his role as Admin at Chuya Factory.

Ymir has been a valuable part of our team, and his contributions are deeply appreciated. His decision to leave was entirely his own, rooted in personal matters and, ultimately, a choice of love and loyalty that we respect. While we did request that his partner—who had been residing in the studio for an extended period—vacate the space due to growing emotional tension and its noticeable impact on the creative focus of our artists, Ymir made the personal decision to leave with her.

To be clear, this situation may not be the sole reason for recent production delays, but it has certainly contributed significantly to them. The emotional atmosphere within a creative studio matters deeply—and when it is disturbed, it affects not only individual well-being but also the collective flow and aesthetic harmony of the team. These past few weeks have been emotionally charged and stressful for many involved.

That said, we are now recalibrating and moving forward with clear intention and renewed energy. In the announcement below, we’ve outlined the concrete steps we are taking to catch up on backlogs and improve delivery on delayed models. Our team remains committed to excellence and transparency, and we thank our community for the continued patience and support.

Transitions like these are never easy—but they’re sometimes necessary to restore alignment and focus. We part ways with Ymir with gratitude, and we remain excited for what lies ahead for Chuya Factory.

A New Phase for Chuya Factory Discord

As we move forward from recent transitions, we want to take this opportunity to inform everyone of a key change in how Chuya Factory will engage with the community on Discord.

Moving ahead, Chuya Factory will now be represented as a collective entity through the official Chuya Factory Discord account. This means that all final announcements, decisions, and official responses will come directly from this account—not from individual artists, moderators, or even Tooterokan himself. This decision has been made within the team as a group.

This shift is part of our continued effort to ensure:

• Clear and unified communication

• Professional consistency in direction

• And a solid foundation for our expanding team and community

In the coming days, you will notice increased engagement from the Chuya Factory account. Our goal is to foster better coordination, accountability, and transparency as we work to catch up on backlogs and continue delivering the quality you expect from us.

Current Model Updates

We’d like to give you an official update on the current status of our model releases and upcoming content. We truly appreciate your patience and support, especially through recent delays and transitions. Here's where we currently stand:

2B – Near Automata
We acknowledge that 2B has been delayed for an extended period, and we thank you sincerely for your patience. We're making sure she is worth the wait—this is an iconic character, and we didn't want to compromise on quality or rush something subpar into the market.

• Sculpt Finalization: Saturday

• STL and Supported Files Delivery: By Monday

We’re making sure this one is perfect. Your continued trust means the world to us.

Cha Hae-In – Solo Leveling
Cha Hae-In will be finalized by Tuesday next week, with full upload of her model and files scheduled on or before May 15th.

• Includes pre-supported and uncut versions

• She’s one of our top priorities this month, right alongside 2B.

Ellen Joe
Coming shortly after Cha Hae-In’s release. Stay tuned—we’ll update you as soon as she’s ready.

Layla, Queen of Sheba, and Chang Li
Production will run from May 14 to May 25, with the goal to finalize both supported and unsupported versions before the end of the month.

We’ve also assigned Queen of Sheba to a special guest artist, whose name will be revealed upon final sculpt approval. The reason for this is Tooterokan cannot finish more than two models during May 14 to 25. Expect WIPs to be posted in the meantime!
