Sangonomiya Kokomi, the young Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island and a descendant of the Sangonomiya Clan, carries the weight of her people's hopes and desires on her shoulders. In Genshin Impact, she is known as the Pearl of Wisdom and serves as a support character. Throughout the game's Archon Quests, Kokomi takes on the role of a major protagonist, leading her people in worship and fighting against the God of Eternity's tyranny.

Despite her calm and serene demeanor, Kokomi is an introverted individual who finds little joy in her role as the Divine Priestess. When the Vision Hunt Decree is introduced, forcing Inazuman Vision bearers to relinquish their Visions, Kokomi rises against the God of Eternity and forms a resistance movement under the Sangonomiya name. With her strategic brilliance, she holds the resistance together during the civil war until the Traveler intervenes and defeats the God, bringing an end to the Vision Hunt Decree.

Voiced by Risa Mei in English and Suzuko Mimori in Japanese, Kokomi stands as a symbol of peace and hope for the people of Watatsumi Island. She forms alliances, protects her home, and expresses gratitude to the Traveler and Paimon for their assistance. After the war, Kokomi celebrates with her people and initiates peace talks with Kujou Sara, leading to the end of the conflict. She joins the Inazuma festival with her loyal companion Gorou, embracing a future of unity and harmony.
