Random Post #66 - Next Update
Added 2025-02-27 17:00:43 +0000 UTCOkay, here’s the post talking about the update I promised a few days ago.
This update I’m currently working on (v0.6.70) is likely one of the biggest ever for Sex Valley. Imagine me taking two months to do an update because I felt one month was too little for an update, and then making a huge update as soon as I had more time for it.
The new update has the second half of the basement quest, a romance quest for Hildegard that is around a normal character quest in length, and three different scenes for Hildegard with one futa on male, a male on futa and a foot scene! Each scene is surprisingly long… Honestly, although I do like giving the three options, sometimes I feel it just gets in the way of making different scenes, so instead of it, each of Hildegard’s scenes will happen in different places and under different circumstances.
I don’t want to go on a spoiler spree, and Hildegard’s whole thing in the first part of the basement is being a bit of a gaslighter and mysterious, so talking too much about her is bound to give away stuff, so there’s not that much for me to share… I guess I can say that every experiment appears in the new update, and #62 has a name now. It won’t change how her name appears for the player, but characters that know her real name will call her by name.
As of this very moment, I just finished setting up the Basement quest second part and the Hildegard’s romance’s “skeleton” in-game. That means: variables, switches, animations… Everything that goes into the quest that isn’t text(also Hildegard’s updated schedule and scenes), is in there, so hopefully it should come out early next month as intended.
And just as a little reminder, Lene’s entire questline AND Nihil’s quest is a requirement for the Basement second part. And the basement quest completion is the only requirement for Hildegard’s romance.
Now, one last thing: I was messing around with the new maps and connecting them to the existing maps, when I noticed something I never paid attention to: The area where the Witch’s tower is located (and by extension the basement entrance) never turns dark as night comes. I changed those maps to now properly get dark, but then I got flashbanged by the morning light. That prompted me to look into it, and once again toned down the morning brightness. It is a change into something that has always been there, so when the update comes out, I’ll be asking for feedback on it.
