Random Post #61 (About Nameless Utility)

Originally, it was going to be one of Bum-Bum’s upgrades, but after introducing Nameless I thought it would be best for her to have the watering crops stuff. It’s a simple system. You unlock it, talk to Nameless when she’s at the farm (aka. mornings), and all crop tiles will be watered instantly. I had it almost done already, but for some reason, it didn’t work properly with some tiles, so the way I fixed it was by deleting some tiles and replacing them with new ones. That means 8 or so available crop tiles will lose their crops if you bring a save from an older version.
But what I’m thinking is when it should be unlocked. From what I planned, it will be available after completing her questline, but I can see it working just fine halfway through the quest, so I’m wondering. The last part of the quest should be around level 12, that is around the level of the first half of the forest, where the fox boss is. The quest level can only go up, as Sophie’s quest is required, and the Eris boss fight is around that level.
The other point in time the auto crop could be unlocked is after unlocking her schedule, that is, after completing the silo, but I feel that is way too early, as it’s only around level 5 or so. From then on, the only other level/progression gated moment is the Sophie/Eris questline, and that is level 10+, going up and down, depending on your choices. Heck, if you choose to keep Eris’s secret there isn’t even a fight at all.
I’m very inclined to keep it as the big reward for completing the questline, but I dunno, I can see the argument for the opposite. Either way, I think I’m doing good progress. Ah, one more thing: unlike the usual quests, the last part of Nameless's quest will let you use the companions, and there will be some extra dialogue if you have Nihil at your party.
