Now that the poll has been out for a while, I’ll put out my perspective on the matter, but after thinking about it some more, it was kinda a dumb poll. Some characters work better under different options, and it’s hard to gauge what a favorite is regarding the scene options as there are no in-game indicators of it. (Although when there are three options, they are always in order)

As a writer, there’s something always on the back of my mind when I’m writing a scene: the “how the protagonist will act” part. I don’t think I need to say it, but I have a better affinity for writing the submissive scenes, and I’m very, very glad people like them most, as they are what I’m more comfortable writing. The gentle scenes are also somewhat nice to make, as they are the “romantic” type of scene, where neither character is overpowering the other, and they just enjoy each other’s company. The naughty, however…

I’ll take this chance to complain about something I never did before. I kinda started disliking the naughty scenes over the years. Not really because of how they work but because I struggle a bit with writing them. There’s a thin line between the protagonist being dominant and in control and being a plain asshole, and I’m not the best at differentiating it. The moment that dawned on me kind of annoyed me to no end. By default, the protagonist's personality is gentle. That’s to say, he’s always pretty chill about most stuff, very rarely deviating from it without the player’s input, but when the player gets the option, he makes a complete 180 a lot of times. Still, having the naughty as not last makes me feel a bit less self-conscious about it.
