I've thought long and hard on this subject. Honestly, I made a big mistake in making the caves more than a little side-quest without giving the player a good enough reason to go through all that. (unless fucking monster girls is enough) And because that is annoying me too much (Especially after this last update), I've decided to add a real motivation to delve into the caves.
My current plan is: Scap the current introduction (the black screen that goes "Welcome to the world" and blah blah blah) and makes it a scene from the protagonist childhood that he spends with his friend, Lamir, and a second friend, that would've gone missing... on the caves. It's not something too complex or anything like that, but it's something to make the MC not feel like a dumbass wandering around dangerous places for the sake of it.
And still, on this topic, I've decided on tweaking some of the old art in the game as some of the early stuff can really irk me sometimes. I’ll start with Lamir, Lene and Clarine’s dialogue art and hopefully I’ll have something to show in a few days from now.
Oh yeah, last week we made a popularity poll for the main girls. Lene is by far the most popular, you guys really like the mean guard. Our resident foot girl followed her, Illyana, the merchant Elinnie, the childhood friend Lamir, and the sisters Clarine and Maribel, fills the last two positions. Well, the results are about what I expected. I'm honestly a bit dead inside with Maribel’s position, but oh well.

Pretty much what bob billion said. They have much more interesting back stories and depth to them imo. And yes it's very VERY rare to find futa on male games, and even more rare to find good ones. And this is like one of if not the best one i've ever played. That said I do like the Dragoness and other characters aswell. But for me personally their overshadowed by not being as unique or having as interesting back stories. Also I tend to like characters who are flawed have a dark past etc.

2021-07-11 17:39:09 +0000 UTCI believe the reason that lene and the rest of her sisters are so popular(besides the fact they are futanari) is the fact you gave them such a depressing backstories, lene was treated like a failure by the witch and a freak by most people, #62 was abandoned by the witch and left to rot with the rest of her broken sisters, trash/nihil was abandoned and had to become a bandit to survive, the only one who seems to have any positivity in there life is peach and even then the witch seems to have imprisoned her in a crystal.
