(Elinniel) Important Poll #1 - Maribel Dual Personality
Added 2021-01-14 22:40:57 +0000 UTCThere is something that has been bothering me for a while, and I wanted to ask you guys what you feel about it and make a poll to decide.
Over the last months, we made the second quest for all of the main girls, and now the only one that remains is Maribel. Her quest was supposed to come out this month, but because I’m having a bit of trouble writing her story we pushed it back to the next update.
Maribel is a bit weird in the main cast, she is the only girl that isn’t very sexualized in design or personality and is one of the only ones that start the game with little sexual interest in the mc. My original plan was to make her slowly fall for the player, just like it happens with Illyana.
I’m currently having two problems with her, the first is the dual personality that she shows in her first quest. It’s not like that it is a bad thing, but It's something I put there because I believed that Maribel was a weak character, not sexualized at all, that needed a little kinky push to be “competitive” with the rest of the cast. Now, I’m not that sure, and feel the need to expand on that on her next quests, again, not a bad thing but not exactly what I originally had in mind for her.
Her second problem is the weird first quest she has, unlike the other characters her quest lacks any type of combat. That was planned but overall the way the quest pans out is a bit weird, in my eyes it doesn’t feel like a first quest, at least not for Maribel.
I’d think she needed a bit more of a romance going on, something like taking her on a date or having her tending the player’s wounds to create a closer bond before they started fucking.
But, because we are all in this together I want your opinions on this matter, so I’ll be making a poll to decide this.
