(Elinniel) Random Post #7 (Lene)

 It seems like Lene is winning the poll, I should’ve known this would happen, she won every single poll she was present… is it the design, personality or the dick? Well, time to talk about her.

To start it off, when we were just starting making the girls each had a very specific fetish associated with then. In the end, we scrapped that idea on a few girls, but a few still have them, specifically, Elinnie is Anal, Illyana is Foot Fetish, and Lene is Futa. But Elinnie and Illyana are not locked on their fetishes, but Lene can’t really just pluck her dick.

Lene was specifically made and wrote with the idea that she would have a dick. She is the city guard, and tough enough to face off against the protagonist in a world that males are overwhelmingly stronger than a woman physically because she is a failed experiment to create an “artificial” male for procreation.

She is a bit of an asshole that doesn’t care much about people, as she was treated badly when younger and has a “fake”, infertile dick. She was also used as a test subject, something that she hates.

Her relation with some characters is also based on her having a dick, like Maribel and Clarine.

And finally, she detests the protagonist. Why? They both have a dick, but he is loved while people are disgusted by her? It’s incredibly unfair for her. Even her only actual “friend” would rather spend time with him.

What I am trying to make clear is that Lene was made knowing she has a dick, that is a part of her character.

In my opinion, she stays like that, because that is who she is. But I really liked the option to be just friends and lock most of the sex with her.

But I will throw some options of what can be done about her anyways.

1- Don’t change her.

That is simple, Lene is great already. 

Don’t change her just for the sake of having the option to have dickless Lene.

2- Be just friends.

I will edit the end of “Lene’s First Quest” and give the player an option to be just friends, and lock the player out of sex with just Lene. (Threesomes would still be available).

I really like this option, as it keeps Lene as herself, but it gives an option to people who likes Lene to stay free of seeing the dick without losing her overall content. (But in a hentai game, sex IS her overall content, right? Hard questions here, boys)

3- Separate her choices.

Make Lene scenes be based on the choice the player makes. The Gentle and Submissive scenes would both stay the same but the Naughty Scenes would have NO mention of her dick under any circumstances.

This is a weird solution that doesn’t really fix the issue, but here it is.

4- Choose “No Dick Lene” at the start.

Make it so that the dick was never there!

That means rewriting, redrawing and reprogramming Lene from scratch, that is a massive amount of work. It would probably push the overall schedule a few months back and increase the development time for all Lene content. (this problem is also true on option 5 but to a smaller extent)

5- Quest to make her dick go.

That is, use the Witch, Falk to create a potion to make her lose her dick after the first quest. That also means rewriting most of her scenes and a few of her interactions. (Editing the images is not a problem though).

The problem with this solution is actually finding a way to make it happen without feeling forced storywise. Lene, as a character would not go out of her way to lose the dick, and she would not like the protagonist sticking his nose in her business and choosing how she lives her life. But it’s something that can be worked with a bit of creativity.

Just like the last time, one week to get the results for this poll. And keep in mind that Lene is ONE character out of six, so it is understandable that she might not be to everyone liking.
