Hear ye, hear ye!

I'm guest hosting a session of Figure Drawing Club over Zoom tomorrow (Sunday, September 3rd) at 4:30pm Pacific/7:30pm Eastern! You can sign up by sending Babs a Tip of $15 for a single session via Ko-Fi. (Be sure to put your email in the Message field so they can send you the Zoom invite link.)

If you haven't been before, FDC is a friendly, low-stakes online life drawing session. Babs, our intrepid host and model, has had guest hosts all summer, and now it's my turn to take the reins! If you have an established practice, feel free to just come draw, or you can tune in for my running commentary. We'll be doing a bunch of gestures and a couple slightly longer poses while I talk about creating a sense of ENERGY and PLAY in our work.

I love working with outlines (I'm a cartoonist after all), but I've been trying to push myself to use more shapes in my work. If you want to get messy with me, bring some watercolors or markers for making BLOB PEOPLE. (Working digitally also makes this easy if you have Procreate or a similar drawing program.) I'll explain everything in session. No experience required!
