"These Don't Shuffle"

Back at the beginning of 2021, you might remember this conversation I had with my pal Robin Rendle about websites and webcomics and other...web...things? Lotta web things. I was driving south for my first test run of Moving to Ojai and met up with him while I was passing through San Francisco. This was the era of No Vaccines! It was so grey in Portland! I hadn't talked to anyone who didn't live in my house in MONTHS! Stopping to sit at a distance in a park in the sun with my friend felt like a miracle.

A year after that I happened to be in San Francisco again, so we recorded another Thing (and even got to HUG), but I've been sitting on that transcript for a year and haven't yet finished editing it. I'll do it eventually! I will.

But for now, Robin very wisely badgered me into just recording a video call at a distance instead, which leads us to "These Don't Shuffle," an hour-long visual talk between the two of us about prototypes and our current projects and the long arc of development for print. He was kind enough to handle all the video compiling and editing and stuff, so this has the added bonus of being a thing I just get to share with you all with a minimum of fuss.
