I'm too suspicious of Omni-Man to appreciate him, even a little. He clearly lied about his memories of what happened when all other heroes got killed. Maybe he can't remember and it's bad, it means he was truly controlled by someone else. Maybe he does remember, but he was still controlled and it's dangerous (you know you're a potential danger and you don't say it ?). Or maybe he does remember because he did all of that on purpose. And for all of what I know so far of him, I'll go with that theory.
He reacted weirdly when Mark announced he has powers. I remember he told his son a story about being the "sole protector" of Earth and he never went into a team (so maybe he thinks that now is the time to eliminate all others). And what he did on that planet ? Destroying everyone with that rage ? I don't trust Omni-Man, and I'm scared of when Mark is gonna learn more about his daddy. Glad he made some new friends here.

Aaaah, I never pay attention to the casting for animes. In a way, I think it's better, at least for me, to not visualize the persons behind the characters but to fully involve myself into the universe. But that's cool easter eggs !
