Hello !

I warned you in the intro : I know nothing about Babylon 5, shows, movies and novels, this movie was my first time discovering this universe. So clearly, beginning, during and finishing the movie, I know I missed stuff : not only easter eggs which were here to please the fans (maybe characters, words/names being dropped which appeared and you guys loved it a lot), but also things that I couldn't understand.

But I don't have the impression that I have been left behind either. For me, the characters were not important and I had the impression that the movie was like the chapter of an historic book of that universe. You know like "this war began on a miscommunication, it almost ended with a total genocide, at the end we discovered we had stuff in common, and there was a prophecy, at some point bigger enemies, a common one, to fight, so it opens a new era of our age." Watched it like that, liked it like that. So yes, for fans it's surely an amazing movie. For me, as a noob, it was a nice one.
