Two important questions for me

Hi, these are the very questions that I talked about earlier, and about which I want to hear your opinion. This is important for me.

1. This is of course Call of Duty. I enjoyed working with the characters in this series. But there were problems with the community. Surely even here there are still a few of them. They almost instantly leaked all the images from here. It got to very uncomfortable situations, for example, when not once or even twice I was sent an image from Patreon in all social networks and almost threatened  to do more. As you can imagine, there is not much harm from them, but they spoil the mood pretty much. Since then I have stopped doing something with the COD characters, but I still receive many requests from you.

So, should I return to Call of Duty? If you really want it, then all the negativity will not matter to me, because I will do it for you, not for them

2. Male characters. Almost 10 percent of my audience on Instagram and Deviantart are unexpectedly women. Especially on Instagram. Among them are my good friends who often ask why I don't make male characters? I looked a little at how people work with male characters and most of the time it looks completely inappropriate for these characters in my opinion. I think I could try to do something worthy with them. Not often, of course, but from time to time.

What do you think about that? Should i?

I'm cool with whatever you do! Your work is so good I don't care what it is!

Yes please, for both 💜

Fluorescent Ghost

Go for it bro.

well, as some already said, i would suggest you do the art and the characters, you prefer to do, becuase i think that will result in the best images and keep you motivated. For the second question. Well, i would skip male images but since you said you already had people asking for it, you could give it a try, but i think you should keep in mind that doing what like 10% of your patreons ask for and the other 90% might dislike doesnt seem to be a good choice if you wnat to maintain or increase your patreon base. I think someone mentioned to maybe try it out with some free ones first and wait for the responses, that could be a good step to decide based on feedback later.

If your audience is mostly male and you make content for a minority of your audience you risk pushing away the majority (obviously depends how much you make male art) maybe post them for free to make it seem as a bonus on top of the female art already being made for patreon to see the response of your patreon supporters

Stranger said it best. Make whatever content makes you happiest! While I hate to see your content get pirated, you are the artist and have the freedom to make whatever makes you happy. Which leads to your second question. While it is your art, if there’s a female audience her that wants male art then by all means go for it! I personally won’t have interest in it but it’s about what’s best for the community not individuals Although I will slide in a request for some more Destiny art in the future if you become inspired to do that again. Especially with Queen Mara back in the game now hehe

Also i dont think the 10percent girls want males if theyve stayed for females this whole time... just a thought.

Don't care about COD characters. I've been enjoying AC and other stuff, like Aloy (I think I gave you a big list of stuff I'd like to see after you asked that one time)... That said, if there's a demand for COD, then I suppose it's up to you if you wanna make it. You might as well make a poll about it too, both here and on Twitter. Same for male characters. Those don't interest me, but I'm not gonna unsub unless you lean way too hard on it and turn into making like 75% male characters, and on a much more rapid pace, flooding my patreon timeline with biggus dickus 😅 ... As for people posting the COD stuff on reddit or whatever... It's a dick move, yes, but technically I guess they're within their right to do whatever they want with the images as they have paid for the access to them. And even if I were made aware of your art via such a situation I would still sub for access to the original files, as imgur and Twitter (and many other standard file hosts) ruin the image quality via compression. I'd understand maybe sharing in a tiny closed discord group with strict rules of not sharing anywhere else to not massively screw over the artist, but sharing it openly on reddit etc is counter productive if you want the artist to make more money and/or be motivated to make more of the stuff you like.

To answer the questions Idc about cod either way. And no to males. they have sakimichan for that. I just want more redheads. lol

Unfortunately, because it's the internet, there's always gonna be assholes like that. But I believe that shouldn't stop you from making your art. I would definitely like more COD characters, as there are still plenty of characters that haven't been touched yet. As for male art, I myself personally be interested in it, but if that's something that others would like to see, go for it 100%👍

I'm not fussed about CoD characters, and if you have female fans who want to see male character then by all means appeal to them every now and then.

Arachow

1. I wouldn't mind seeing more COD characters, though I'm annoyed to hear there are those who would take the images directly from this Patreon and blast them all over reddit/social media, etc.. 2. I wouldn't mind either seeing some male characters. I remember you did scrapped a f x m render and posted it either here or on DA and it looked pretty good. :)

I’d be more than down for more CoD characters or just new content. Concerning male characters, sure why not? In the end you should probably decide on what feels better. After all, you will be the one spending time to create these artworks.

If you have a demand for CoD then believe it's only proper to supply it, as long as you yourself are comfortable with it. Also as to male characters; I see no problem with it, tbh the results may actually be interesting

Sounds dumb but, do what you think is the right thing. I enjoy all of your artwork. So if CoD falls away, there may be room for something new (maybe some more destiny 2 after a long time) As for male characters: do what the ladies like. I will skip them ofc but you gotta respect the wishes of all your Community members 😉👍

I think COD characters should still be made, it was the reason I initially subscribed.. but at the end of the day it's your art man you do you. Male characters, as I said, it's up to you. I'm entirely impartial.

I couldn't care less about call of duty's character, i don't mind male characters

1) COD: I know I will support you either way, but I believe your patrons will too. You are an artist, and therefore you are fully in control of your medium and content. If you want to open yourself up to commissioned work, that’s your decision. But I don’t want you subject yourself to piracy and negativity. That will inevitably impact your work, your mentality about your work, and possibly burn you out. Which, none of us want. We subscribe for YOUR content. Which is a Segway into… 2) male figures: again, it’s YOUR art. But I don’t think you would lose patrons if you started doing male figures. I would recommend though, that if you do start doing males, to recognize that (as you say) if your audience is 10% female, then you might mot get as many likes. Obviously there’s no way to calculate sexual orientation of an internet demographic, so with that factor aside, I just don’t want you to feel down or that the work isn’t excellent because it doesn’t get as many likes. Long story short. It’s your art. Do what you want. We are here because we like what you have done, and are doing. But that doesn’t mean you can’t change it up.

Yes make more call of duty characters

Jorge
