DRAWING WEEK 11 - SHOGUN

This week, you discovered the two final episodes of the season 1 of Shogun, and I noticed that I never made a drawing for them. Shame on me. So for these two weeks, I'll honore characters that we're not gonna see in season 2 (if we have one ! was it confirmed somewhere ?). And let's begin with Mariko. I feel a little sorry because I was a few times a little harsh with her character, but I always explained I appreciated her but I had difficulties with how they wrote her development.
For me, her character is amazing and well written during the first and final episodes, but there is a middle time where she's... not useful, not defined by anything else than being a love interest and involved into that love triangle. But the beginning is great to present her, the mystery of her background, her religion, the fact the's so loyal to Toranaga. And the end is amazing with her being so smart, so strong, so brave... and that death yes-but-no-but-yes just to play even more with our emotions...
