Maybe I was wrong and right at the same time about the situation. I thought they were not targeting Satoru, that they would come for Yuji. In fact, I forgot about the Prison Realm and they truly wanted to seal Satoru in it. But at the end, they did it so they could then warn Yuji about it and surely target the kid.

You know how much I love Satoru and here I was so impressed by how strong, fast and smart he was. But I never played blind about his defaults, in particular the fact that he has goals and ambitions, and can sometimes commit crimes or bad stuff for accomplish them. So here, I knew that Satoru would be okay to sacrifice a few people to save the majority. But I know the character also enough to understand he would never kill them himself.
