Being lost and confused watching these first episodes of the Return of Twin Peaks seems to become a habit now, no ? I try to make theories, like here I suppose that Dark Cooper planned everything : the ring of Dougie's wife inside of the body he killed and swapped with Ruth's body, when normally he has no connexion with Dougie because it's Real Cooper who is now inside of him, it means that in fact DC planned that ! Like he planned to finish in that jail and that's why he was looking at its plans earlier, because he needed to fin a way to make that call and say that coded sentence to someone. See, theories, but so many mysteriesβ¦
And so many new characters, new stories ! We're continuing to discover some with this episode ! Like Becky, Shelly's daughter, who is going out with that stupid boy, asking money to her mom, taking dr**, acting a little like Laura in fact. We have Doris, Frank's wife, a real drama queen housewife. We have Twin Peaks' hotel key which is gonna come back home, and Hawks who is gonna finally see what is missing. We have a car which exploded, a boy who got saved, the maga return of Dr Jacoby, the owner of the casino being mad, Cooper who went to work⦠So many things, so manyyyyyy things.

I don't think Jacoby's a conservative or Trumper (the big identifier here is his attack on corporations which is a leftist persepective, not attacking the government which is what the right does). I think he's generality just supposed to represent a frustrated population disenfranchises by corporate control (remember, in the US, we don't have the universal healthcare that you enjoy because corporate interests in insurance companies don't want to lose their money).

Dark Cooper looking into the mirror: the mirror image moment was subtle, you can miss it if not paying close attention. Think about what they showed you there, a flashback of scenes. It might come clear to you who he means when he said "You're still with me." I think you forgot Cooper was sent to that other world room and then escaped with help from the blind woman. The creep at the Road House, there's a reason he is introduced to the audience like this, which of course I won't say. Tammy discovered something with comparing the fingerprints. More info. to come.
