It has been episodes that I tell you that the relationship between Valya and Tula is the center of this show, and the end of this season just proves it. But I was wrong about one big thing : I thought the writers wanted to show us how their relationship would be destroyed by lies and betrayals when in fact, they showed us how unbreakable it is. Because this end insists on one thing : we should have never underestimated Tula, she's the same as Valya.
Okay during this episode we discover the cruel moment during which Valya eliminated all of the Sisters being against her in the past, but let's not forget Tula killed an entire family. And here we discover she lied to her own sister about her baby, she has in fact the same power than herโฆ but she doesn't kill Desmond. Nor did she destroy his eye, which proved to be transformed by machines. A big mistake. And now, we have the Princess, the Atreides boy and Valya on Arrakis, prepared to look for the person who gave that order to the machines.

Maybe Francesca was too surprised for that or the poison too fast ? With also the fact that she was in a state of despair. It's bad to wait for a season 2 but at least we already know we have one !

2024-12-24 13:46:20 +0000 UTCHi Laura. I really enjoyed this episode. The scene in space that made you wonder, what am I looking at, was the way spaceships work in this universe. It has been described many times in the books but never visualized in a movie, it looked fantastic. The only thing I don't get is the poisoning of Francesca, as a nurse she should have neutralized the poison, just like in the scene with nurse Nazir and the virus. Too bad we have to wait a long time again for season two.
