Hello !

The entire session was great… until the end of the trial. We spent the episode looking for clues and the game managed to make me switch : I suspected Celeste, then I went for Byakuya and because we discovered a lot of new things ! Genocide Jack is one of the students, or maybe not it's someone copying him, I found out quickly that the lockers' room carpets and posters were switched, we had malfunctioning handbooks… And the beginning of the trial was responding to all of these issues, and so well…

Until this game decided to create one new narrative arc to just justify one clue. A transphobic one. And after that, it was just bad stuff after bad stuff, with this game not using the right pronoms all along, considering a trans woman as a boy no matter what, and even worst putting an awful message through the situation : if Chihiro is a transwoman, it's because she decided so after considering she was a weak boy and she didn't have enough motivation to get stronger, and oh awful witch, she did it only in front a death threat… Everything was so wrong, it made me so mad, at the end I was not reading things anymore.

And like I explained, if this would have been my first time on the game, I wouldn't continue it. But because I know this game can be other stuff than that, because I know it's an old game (and that's why I closed my eyes on some misogynist lines) and even more a japanese one (and we know how they consider(ed) the lgbtq community), I want to give it one more chance. But it's gonna be the last one.
