This episode was great, even better than the last one which was my favorite so far. Because FINALLY I see something, a purpose, an artistic direction behind the camera ! I said it a lot, the stories are great, the characters are well played, this universe is well presented on screen, but everything was filmed in a scholarly way. I thought it could be like for His Dark Materials, that with the next season and things getting bigger, it would look better on screen. But I had a few scenes here which were promising and made me hope it can happen sooner.
For me, this show has one big weak point : Nez and the Atreides boy (and his face showing no emotions). Their characters are clichés, their relationship is even worse, and each of their discussions is just a badly written fanfic. The final reveal of the episode, Theodora who can change her appearance, is a cool one ! And it can have a big impact on the future : here, Valya killed her uncle, but can we imagine Theo killed Harrow ? And that she would take her place from now on ? Even if I'm wrong with that, we have to imagine she can replace everyone, the Emperor himself.

Yes, I saw for Lila's eyes and I made the comparison with the eyes in the dark. But I didn't think about the fact they are like the thinking machines, you're right about that. And you're right also, now Nez should know that the Atreides boy was working with the rebellion (but for me Desmond also knows and wants to use him in a way).

The same color blue I think you see in all thinking machines. The thumping things are explained in the film, they are not a secret I think. This episode was fun.
