Me during the intro : I don't know when Viktor is gonna be back, maybe only the middle of the season ; I want to have news about Jinx during this first drop of the season. Clearly, I was not ready for this episode ! But I understood real quick what the writers did with it : the first episode was to present the consequences of the last events of season 1 on one side, this second episode was about the same but for the other side. And here, we also have characters who are lost and in pain, who know what they need to do but it's taking them time to process things.
Jinx feels totally lost after losing Silco and she knows she went so far she can't come back to her sister. And it's not something that she wants in fact. But the little scene with the kid proves she still has a little heart inside, she knows what is right or not. All of her mental issues can make her look just like a crazy girl, but we can see she's mourning Silco's death, she feels betrayed to see Vi coming to attack her, she's tired of being attacked by everyone… Now, she's really just giving up, on everyone, including herself. And it's interesting that, into this episode about "the other side", we see Viktor waking up, pushing away Jayce, and at the end "healing" that guy. Futur gourou of a new cult, that's my theory.

I also think that Viktor healing people is also contaminating them. I even think that hexcore is controlling him totally but he accepts it, he shares its "ideas" because in fact he shares mind and body with it now.

2024-11-13 08:59:11 +0000 UTCI really interested to see where Viktor's messiah act is going to go. I'm going to say that the hexcore is probably like a virus, and while Viktor is "healing" these people, he's also implanting a bit of the hexcore in them so that he can control them like puppets later down the line. The question for me is whether Viktor is unaware of how the hexcore is probably controlling/affecting him, or if he's a willing a participant in this. To be honest though, if I was Viktor, I wouldn't be happy with Jace too. I get that Jace was worried about Viktor because he's his best friend, but he *promised* Viktor that 1) he will never make hextech weapons, and 2) that he will destroy the hexcore. Both promises Jace broke. I get that Jace is supposed to be the good guy here, and he does look like an adorable puppy, but he's been pretty selfish in his dealings with others.
