Hello !

I'm divided about this final episode of TWD Daryl Dixon : I loved all of the first part with each discussions between Carol, Daryl, Ash and Laurent, and I appreciated all of the escaping plan. I knew Carol would jump out of the plane and stay with Daryl (because he needed help here, also because she can't let him sacrifice himself and even more because he would mean she didn't succeed with her mission).

I understand all of the reasons why the writers wanted to close narrative arcs created in France after that, to take our guys to England next season. But why, WHY, did they need to do that to just eliminate everyone ? A lot of deaths felt unnecessary, quickly done, in particular in this last episode. And I'm really not okay with losing Codron, who is for me the character created for this spin-off which evolved the most, the one we could have kept (could he betray our guys at some point, or become a loyal friend), the one who built solid relationships with both Carol and Daryl… And clearly, the "Michel" reason felt off after the discussion he had with Daryl. Sophia and Isabelle intervening during this last scene, it was nice, but that decision with Codron… No for me. So yes, I'm divided.
