Hello !

I pressed play with a total open mind but I was ready to watch a big action movie with a lot of fights against a big creature, meaning a lot of explosions and all. And it was clearly not that : ok Godjira was present and we had a lot of nice combats, but the main story and in fact the purpose of the movie were not about it. It could have been another creature, it could have been an enemy country, it would have been the same. And at the same time, I think that fans of Godjira can love it because it reminds them of the og movies.

The movie was written and created with so many thoughts into it ! They built it with some old movie codes, for the musics, for some situations, to remind the fans of the original opus. And the story was done to be realistic, to show what war can do to a country, to their people, the consequences of it, how to rebuild the country and also yourself after it. We have a soldier feeling ashamed of not dying during the war, living with ptsd, and we have former soldiers who want to organize themselves and have their revenge on it by beating that big creature… A lot of subjects and subtitles in this movie, amazingly done on screen, and still have all of the ingredients to work on everyone (emotions, actions, love story, loyal friendship etc).
