This episode would have been three different episodes during season 3. Like, it contains so much stuff. Again, I feel so proud of Jiro : badly hurt, the girl is standing in front of the Biggest Villain of her universe and she's that brave that she gives him a lesson about life, she attacks him and she manages to convince people inside of the Master to block him. It's already a lot to take and it's so meaningful.
So put after that a scene with Endeavor facing his old self, discussing how much he changed, showing (finally) a part of his background with his father who died trying to save someone… And then Endeavor intervenes to protect the other ones, sacrificing his right arm, to attack the Master. Then he goes into the air, I have the impression he wants to sacrifice himself (also as a mirror of that memory of his father) but no, he wants to burn his enemy. He thinks he did it, but no… THIS EPISODE WAS TOO MUCH.

There is clearly a parallel Endeavor/Bakugo, and since a while, with this anime : both who had just the ambition to be better than All Might/Deku and were just so mean to them, both who changed their perceptions of things, realized they were wrong and are trying to be better persons, both who are now ready to sacrifice themselves because they know their lives is less important than Deku's one and they are okay to be helpers and not the leader (as long as they are the beeeeest helpers 😉 ).

2024-10-09 06:50:34 +0000 UTCI just thought about the parallels between All for One v Endeavor and Shigaraki v Bakugo: All for One is All Might's nemesis, but it was Endeavor (who was All Might's rival) who got his arm destroyed by All for One. Endeavor has also gone through a journey of realizing what an asshole he is and is trying to make amends for it. Shigaraki is Deku's nemesis, but it was Bakugo (who was Deku's rival) who got his arm destroyed by Shigaraki. Bakugo has also gone through a journey of realizing what an asshole he is and is trying to make amends for it. I literally just saw that now. hahaha. I probably missed it the first time I watched it because these episodes are so intense and emotional for me. I was glad to watch it weekly because I don't know if my heart could take all of that in one sitting. Personally, I really appreciated the students from the business courses. They knew what their role was and were doing their best to accomplish it. Everyone has a part to play, and their part was to make sure that everything was documented so that the people will know what happened during that day and who were the responsible parties for it. I'm looking forward to your reactions to the coming episodes because they just keep getting more and more intense.
