DRAWING WEEK 36 - TWIN PEAKS

I know. I know that Leland died in Twin Peaks some episodes ago but thinking about making a drawing about the show, I had just him on mind. Because, SPOILER ALERT IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH THE SHOW, PLEASE LEAVE NOW THAT DESCRIPTION, THAT'S IT YOU'RE ENOUGH WARNED, to discover that he was in fact Bob since the beginning, the one who killed Laura, his own daughter, it was a true surprise for me.
And I loved a looooot how he played it. The character, like the actor. The character because we saw how much he had a double face since the beginning, how he lied to everyone about who he was, what he was truly doing/thinking. And the actor because he was just amazing for how he managed to switch from Leland to Bob, and the contrary.

I really appreciated him in Twin Peaks and some old movies he made, but I checked his new movies and I have the impression the guy lost himself into religious movies and weird bad choices...

2024-09-09 17:36:31 +0000 UTCNice! Ray Wise playing Leland is one of my favorite actor performances ever. Ray Wise has had a solid career, but I feel like he's been seriously underutilized and overlooked in general and could easily hold his own against much more celebrated and awarded actors.
