I couldn't imagine how our guys could convince this crowd to accept for Deku to come inside of the school : they were afraid, they knew that keeping Deku could put them at risk, and it's hard to talk to people who are led by their fears. But I'm not surprised that Ochaco immediately knew what to do, she went for it without even thinking about it twice. She talked with her heart, she told them the truth and she made them see Deku. Really see him. And I love her so much for that.
I'm not sure of what Stain wants : twice now that we saw him following All Might and for now he didn't intervene. But here, All Might has the intention to face and convince people to join the shelters. These people who are regrouping themselves into militias are clearly against heroes, maybe blame him for what happens now ? And with Stain following him like that, I don't know what to expect.

2024-09-04 18:57:44 +0000 UTCOh, I didn't notice it was that guy ! (do you think Deku noticed it ?) Yes, it's such a good reminder ! I feel so proud of Ochaco after this episode, she just went instinctively, she stood up for Deku, in front of everyone, she yelled (when we never saw her getting mad), she didn't let any of them tell her something she disapproved, she was brilliant and so strong.

2024-08-27 07:55:04 +0000 UTCThis episode always gest me. They just doubled down and widened the scope of the lesson learned from last episode: we're all in this together. I love it so much. Fun fact: the civilian with the stars on his head was the same guy Deku talks to in the first episode when he stopped to watch heroes on his way to school. It's a nice call back because in the first episode, he was doing literally what he said in this one: just watching the heroes on stage. Amazing episode.
