Hello !

I loved that they mentioned so much Rhaenys during this episode because it was a good homage to her character but it also proved the impact she had on all of them, how she was maintaining everyone together. Corlys as the new Hand of the Queen, I think it's a good idea for Rhaenyra to be sure to have a close ally loyal to her who could face the rest of the council but also challenges her sometimes, and for Corlys to find his place in this fight and to honor the choice Rhaenys made. His granddaughter talking to his heart had me, I confess it.

I'm really surprised that Aegon is not dead, and now I have that big doubt about Aemond who truly wanted to finish the job and was stopped by Cole. He's between life and death for now, so Aemond managed to convince the council to make him Regent. And really, I felt Alicent's pain here : the fact that these guys used the reason of her genre to say she can't be the Queen Regent (at least Larys had a logical explanation), and the fact she sees Aemond taking it when we know how afraid she is of what he can do. And during this episode, we had also Rhaenyra facing guys explaining to her that "okay, you're the Queen, but in time of war, we only listen to a man" and Daemon finally admitting that "people only want a guy to rule them, so once I'll take the throne, I will allow for Rhaenyra to be my Queen". Fu* you all, I want to cut your di*s to prove to you that your genitals have nothing to do with the question.
