Beginning the intro without hope for the anime but also a lot for me in my personal life, beginning the review screaming "NO HOPE, NO FU**ING HOPE". I think that it was the theme of my day(s). Thorgil can't be that subtil and sneaky to attack Canute like that, all by himself. And Arnheid… She's not coming back to life just to thank Thorfinn and Einar and then join her family in death ? Like, Gardar saying "I'll wait for you here with the kids" can mean that or, best option, they'll wait for her to have a big full life. No matter what, it also means that the kid she was pregnant with is dead. So she could give up really easily. NO HOPE, I said.
Ketil and Thorgil lied to their guys, motivated them with a fake speech, when Snake told his men the truth and it pushed them to follow him. To discover through Snake that Ketil is such a liar, it's a real surprise for me, I really bought his story. But it explains a little more his attitude all along these episodes. Oh, and I'm sorry I accused the anime in advance of not giving me the reunion between Thorfinn and Leif. I wanted it so much.
