Hello !
Me during the intro : "FINALLY, war is gonna truly begin ! But we're not gonna see real big fights, it's gonna be little ones, people progressing, and for sure no one is gonna die." I should know now, with time and experience, that when I say that in intro, you can be sure someone is gonna die for real. And here, it's MY Queen, Rhaenys… I'm surprised I didn't cry more than that because she was truly my favorite character, the only one with whom I truly connected.
Maybe because she announced to us her own death, her sacrifice, when she chose to stay into that fight, by loyalty to her side. Maybe because she had a good death, with honor and dignity. Maybe because this fight was so amazing, looking magnificent on screen (and not only thanks to the dragons), written and edited to be stressful. Now, for sure I love all of the other characters, but really for how they are written, not because I have a special thing for them. Alicent like Rhaenyra, they have my heart like that. But here, Aemond… My brain is gonna continue to love you, but my heart might hate you for some time. Oh, and we're okay that you killed your brother, you killed the King ? Like, it's a fact, a decision you took ? OKAY.
