DRAWING WEEK 26 - THE BOYS

I wanted to make a drawing for the return of The Boys, so I thought of making one about Starlight. I mean, of Annie dressed up as Starlight. Because the girl and her evolution are really representing the story of this entire show. She began by just wanting to be the savior of the world, full of dreams, but also so naive about what was truly happening. And we followed her when she discovered the truth, all of her disillusions. To finish at the end with her throwing away her costume of Starlight and joining our guys in their combat.
But I don't want for the girl to never use her nickname or her costume again. For me, she can come back at some point as Starlight, at least as an heroine, maybe dressed and named another way. The good side also needs heroes, and in fact she would represent their hope. She would represent what heroes should be and she would offer them that. I don't know, I have hope.
