Hello !
This episode was one hour and a half long, but it felt like a regular Twin Peaks episode. Because this show is used to have a slow rhythm, because we spent long minutes with the same scene and because this episode was mixing new enigmas as well as summarizing everything that we learnt during the first season. I appreciated a lot that we kept the mood of it but without the three same musical themes again and again, and taking too much space ; here, they were rearranged and adapted to each moment, and well mixed with the scenes. And I loved a lot that the show assumed to be fun, and amplified its jokes.
We had nine persons potentially dead at the end of the previous season, and we have in fact here just one of them truly dead, Jacques Renault, two in the coma and two who disappeared. I don't know if I can believe that Josie ran away, and for me Catherine is hiding somewhere. I love that Albert is back in the show and surely for good : with all of these characters and scenes, he's gonna be the cynical voice telling each time "you're so weird." Surprised to really appreciate Bobby here, being sweet with Shelley and so emotional with his dad.
