DRAWING WEEK 25 - HOUSE OF THE DRAGON

To celebrate the return of House Of The Dragon, for sure I wanted to make a drawing of Aemond. The scene with him pursuing Lucerys and Arrax is really the main scene of the season 1 for me. Not only for the character but also for the entire show/story. The kid didn't want to do that, it escalated, and at the end, he became a kingslayer, he's gonna have to handle that role for the rest of his life now. He was already an outcast, he's now even more isolated in the sense that he's just gonna be considered as a threat, people are gonna be suspicious of him. And because of his actions, war was declared.
I can not wait to spend more time with him during this season. I don't know if it's your case, but I'm now way more interested to see his evolution than really to follow Rhaenyra and Daemon. I think it's gonna be really deeper, darker, something we're really gonna see evolving, little by little.
