Hello !
When we had that episode with Thorfinn finally changing, making peace with his past through a dream, my first thought was : we need Leif to meet that new Thorfinn, Leif deserves that. I was expecting a reunion, but not until the end of the season, or even later than that. So, to have Leif appear here was clearly unexpected, and the chance to have him meeting Ketil, that they would talk about Thorfinn… Luck was on our side and Leif now knows Thorfinn is surely still alive and on Ketil's land.
During this episode, Ketil met another person who knows Thorfinn but they didn't talk about him. Canute gave him a fake support, having in mind clearly something different. I totally misread the situation at the end (and discovered it with the next episode) : they clearly saw that Olmar was useless but I thought Canute wanted to make him useful by using him against Ketil, maybe threatening the dad with the son, or something like that.
