Hello !
I think that after the end of the previous season which was really about the Villains gathering together, proving they have steps of advance, that they are organized, that they are preparing a big plan and they are guided by someone so strong… After that and because we know now that we can lose a main character, I don't feel safe anymore watching this anime. That's why I had that weird impression here that the Villains would know that our guys are coming.
I thought that the Doctor using a double here was the proof of it. Before understanding that it was in fact the thing he used all of the time to work at his place while he was continuing his experiences on Shigaraki. But I was unsure at the end that, at the headquarters, the Villains were not prepared for our guys' attack. They could have discovered about Hawks and used him, and I kept in mind since season 1 that we might have a rat inside of the heroes.
