Hello !
This OVA was really nice, we're staying in the Christmas mood and all of our guys are spending good time together. This game with cards which are becoming little puppets fighting against each other and all of these rules, about having three candidates for each player, reminded me of Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon and others. It was a nice wink to these other franchises, and it was realistic with the fact that we have here teenagers who can clearly appreciate playing that kind of game.
Even more here, because these cards are representing them, so they can finally know which one of them is the best during a face-to-face, without anyone else or anything intervening, disturbing them around, and at 100% of their quirks. For sure, Bakugo would want to fight against Deku but I love the fact it's finishing as a draw, and with both saying their cards are not updated, that they evolved a lot since then. This moment made me realize that I never imagined these two could truly fight each other, in real life, and I would be so sad if it would happen.
