Hello !
Maybe I was more disappointed and I felt more betrayed at the end of this episode than Askeladd. His men betrayed him in two waves : the deserters who escaped first, that was logical ; but the other ones who are waiting for the last moment, who are making an entire rebellion against him… I felt betrayed. I value too much loyalty in real life to accept it in any story.
So now, Thorkell is really at just one hour from them, he can literally see them, and these stupid betrayers are surrounding Askeladd, Thorfinn, Bjorn, Canute and the priest. Everyone is ready to fight and the next episode is surely gonna be full of action. Except for Canute who is getting mad, but only in his mind. No one considers him as dangerous (I put myself in the lot), and Askeladd slapped him without any hesitation.
