Hello !

I didn't know at all that Gabriel would be in this episode (the advantage of avoiding spoilers like hell), so I had different thoughts : maybe Jadis managed to recruit him, maybe he made her come back to reason, maybe she ended up killing him… But I thought that no matter what, his road would cross Rick and Michonne's road. When in fact, they bring his character "only" for Jadis' memories. And for me, it was a good call !

Because this episode can be read as : Jadis hunting Rick and Michonne, not succeeding, ending by revealing them the truth and because of that, these two decide to go after the Republic (something I predicted). But for me, this episode is in fact a big homage to Jadis' character, to how much she counted in this franchise (og show like spin offs), and how much she evolved all along this time. Her character was so interesting and complex, so it's cool that they took an entire episode for her, that her death was also complex. At the end, Anne came back, a little, and touched me : yes, her artist days were the best, the ones during which she was entirely free.
