Hello !

Second half of the season, new narrative arc ! I thought the opening scene was about Thorfinn, that finally he understood his family needed him and his mother was not doing well, so Helga being the daughter of the (former ?) leader of the army, he brought her back home. But no, it was Askelaad all along. I guessed in the previous episode that he might be from this place, the fact he presented himself with his mother's name and it had this impact, but I never thought his mother was someone that important here.

Askelaad made promises to these welsh guys… I trust the story he told about his family, his background but I would never trust him to involve himself in political stuff (the guy only thinks about his own interest at the end of the day), to hate Danes and to do anything against his men. These guys are following him blindly because they know they can trust him that much, and he would never do something against him.
