I knew that, after mixing all of these stories in the previous episodes, they needed these two final ones for the Northern Water Tribes. First one to discover the place, the characters and the issues. Second one to have the fight, the reveals and the conclusion. We needed time to meet Yue and to get attached to her, for Sokka to get attached to her, so the next episode can have the meaning and impact it is supposed to have.
We had again things about Azula and for the writers to show so much of her during season 1, it's really to insist on the place she'll have later, the importance of the competition with Zuko. We can see here Ozai testing her a lot, the fact she wants to make him proud. The water tribes are preparing for the fight which is gonna come, with Sokka's help ! All of his discussions with Yue were nice.

Oh, you didn't like Pakku ? I have nothing bad to say against the character here or the actor playing him, but I have nothing amazing to say about him neither so... I can understand your opinion but I'm sorry you feel like that 🥺

2024-03-05 09:54:07 +0000 UTCCongrats on not crying in this episode :D The episode as a whole was okay for me. I didn't feel like there were huge moments in it. The fight between Katara and Pakku was supposed to be a big moment, but I didn't feel the impact because I don't like how they portrayed Pakku. How he was acted was so dull. It felt like he was bored of everything. Even when he was trying to be intense, it felt more like he was inconvenienced. Pakku was pretty disappointing for me to be honest.
