Hello !
I felt the same at the end here like I felt after episode 3 : ok writers, you want to mix a lot of stories because you want to keep them all, but are you gonna have the time you need for each ? We'll see. I really went for this show like "it's an adaptation, a short season, so let's keep an open mind and an open heart", so I let them have the chance to prove they can do things right even if they change a lot of things. But I'm beginning to think some hardcore fans are gonna hate these choices…
I see why they want to take time for Azula also, to show her importance in Zuko's story that early and explain why stuff is gonna evolve (and end) this way. Maybe in this episode, it was less necessary to have her because they already presented the fact she's in competition with Zuko. It was more interesting to discover Katara and Sokka's visions, to go deeper with their characters, the fact they want to honor their parents, to prove they are worth it.
